Based on the XR1 formulation, Cobalt Friction XR2 Brake Pads feature a high torque level, but with a smoother, less aggressive initial bite. Torque curve profile is virtually identical to XR1 on a temperature and line-pressure basis, but with a slight reduction in average friction. Equally well-suited for front and rear axle use; as a rear application, Cobalt Friction XR2 Brake Pads balance well with the XTR or XR1 in the front.
